I know zero about him. Seems small and slow with limited ball skills.

was injured with mid season and had surgery...foot/ankle, I forget. but ran a good 40 at his pro day and showed off some athleticism.
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Looks like a replacement for Bryan Callahan.

Never heard of him.
I found:
Not in Walter's top 42 CBs
Not in DraftTek's top 44 CBs
48th CB at DraftCountdown
93rd CB at Draft Scout
Not in the NFL.com top 59 CBs...yet they gave the pick an A-

Apparently the dude was like the 10th ranked CB in college football last season. Played outside like 88% of his snaps. He also only weighs 160lbs.
And I’ve never heard of him.

I don't see anywhere that he's slow, I think he ran a 4.45 at his pro day.

I'm impressed with this kid man, he's sticky in coverage... maybe a little too handsy but I won't mind it as much because he doesn't shy away from contact.
Skrine is under contract for the next few years (expensive to cut as well) so I'm curious if he winds up being ST.

A back-up to Skrine with upside. Pretty fast kid, sticks to his man well and breaks on the ball well. His highlights look very nice.

Notes from camp:
- working as nickel corner
- had consecutive pass breakups in the end zone
- Nagy describes him as "twitchy, scrappy, confident"
- looking forward to true test when pads come on

I'm rooting for this kid to replace Callahan sooner rather than later. Make Buster Skrine a depth piece.

Good read. It make take a year to unseat Skrine, but this kid just has a nose for the ball.
