Going through the Bears top 100 players of all time, I was thinking we could do something fun to kill some time and get some laughs: Whoever wants to be involved, we can essentially all be GMs of our own Bears teams, picking from the pool of any NFLer who ever wore a Bears uniform.
After it's done we can compare and contrast over who got the best squad.
Figure we could draft 24 players - 11 offense, 11 defense, 1 kicker, 1 punter.
It'd be a long thing that would require those playing to check in with their selections, so if you do want to commit to this, please be sure we can rely on you to post your selections in a timely manner.

The rounds in the 20's are going to be really rough.
I guess I'll try. Do I get the first pick, since I responded first? lol

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

This reminds me of our old KFFL NFL drafts!

There's no real "winning" this thing, honestly. More of just something to DO and to compare, contrast, have some conversation, etc.tjs wrote:I don't think I know enough older Bears to participate but this is very interesting and I will follow! What will be strategy be? Snag up skill positions or BPA? It'll be interesting to see how it plays out

If you want to play, no problem. You'll get pick 12 (and 13).Pagan wrote:Hey...
While were waiting on Wiskeys nuts can someone put me in there between G08 & Mike 5's 1st round compensatory pick?
Also please PM me a list of your top 10-25 Bears players so I can consult it for putting in your pick if you're not able to sign in and post it.
