many football conversations with the locals involve the phrase "well, if not for Snyder ..." somewhere in that conversation

one of the docheiest things he did that people outside of the area may not know about involves a pedestrian bridge

there is a very under used shopping mall near the Redskins stadium, so people would park there on and then walk to the stadium ... part of that walk involved a pedestrian bridge over a major highway ... Snyder did not like losing this parking revenue, so he petitioned the county to be able to close that pedestrian bridge on game days "in the interest of fan safety"

when I first read the story, I thought "no county board, regardless of how corrupt, could approve this"

I was wrong ... Snyder got his way
