Pretty graphic. His season is probably over.

Yeah. That was ugly. Need Nichols to come back, and Williams to step up.

The ran right at Jonathan Harris today after Hicks went out. Wherever he lined up, that’s where they went.

That injury was pretty bad. I hope it’s not season ending, but it’s not looking good.

Dr.Chao says 3-4 weeks. I guess he gets to rest his knee this way? I’m just not optimistic enough to think he’ll be coming back to join a playoff run. This season looks very 8-8 right now

I would be surprised if he was back that soon. But if it was just dislocated, then OK, I guess. I would like to see Hicks rest until week 10, and then come back hard the last part of the season.

Yeah it didnt look good and was out of place long enough for me to drink a beer and take a leak. So I expect him being out for a bit.

Nichols can't get healthy soon enough. God damnit.

Bears have been pretty tight lipped about this... has anyone heard any updates?

Nothing much reported but if it was "clean" he *could* be back in 4 to 6 weeks with a brace.

Nagy says no IR for Hicks and that they hope he can come back before the end of the season.

IMO they need to add a body at DT and dump one of the 30 LBs /TEs

Bears must think that too, or else they'd put him on IR with designation to return

Absolutely.

They'd better not rush him back, either. Even at 30, he's a critical piece of the team - easily the 2nd most valuable, after Mack, IMO.

Hicks is a beast, but he's not quite the same disruption inside that he was last year.

I saw it too...I think Akiem really wanted to be recognized as a great player, and once he got that he sorta let off the gas. He looked fat and somewhat disinterested. Maybe this breathes that fire back into him.

He's only had 2 healthy games, after hurting his knee in Week 3.

Not trying to play through it anymore, because of the elbow, could end up being a blessing for him - if he's not back too soon and messes one or both up worse.

I said it in TC, but he definitely looks a little more out of shape this season than he has in the past. I know he was previously listed at like 330, but mentioned a few times in interviews that he plays closer to 315. He looks every bit of the 355 he's listed at this season. I mean dude was like 305 when he came into the NFL.
