June 15: Deadline for club to withdraw qualifying offer to Restricted Free Agents

Is that the same date for 5th year options (Floyd)? If so, we could string him along until well after the draft and rookie mini camp then tell him to pound sand (if he does not agree to renegotiate).

I believe it becomes guaranteed on the first day of the league year, March 18. So it's at least after the tampering period so you have done chance to do a true either/or option.

Thank you for posting this year after year, wab. :-)
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

Also, mark March 18th down for final day for teams to put qualifying offers on RFA players. For me, this is a very important date to see if Hollister or Jarwin are "free" to sign elsewhere or "restricted" to sign elsewhere. I am also interested see what value "restricted" they are placed at for these two TE's I have my eye on.

Doesn't look like Hollister will be back. Jarwin looks like he will be.

I see they moved back the "franchise" tag date, do you think that effected the "restricted" tag?
