If anyone cares. It's a one year deal.

Sweet Jesus Hallelujah
1 pass attempt going into his 8th career season. Pretty cozy gig Tyler has found himself throughout his 20's.
I wonder what the longest NFL career is without that player being forced into any action of consequence. At this rate, Bray will cruise into his mid 30's in the NFL. Nobody sees you play - they can't say you suck. It's like the last actor to audition for a part. "You never know... Could be interesting." Lol

Pretty cushy, but the death of the 3rd active QB spot has probably cost him millions upon millions.Richie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:30 am 1 pass attempt going into his 8th career season. Pretty cozy gig Tyler has found himself throughout his 20's.

I don't think he qualifies for the PS any longer either.

Fine so long as this doesn’t stop us from grabbing Hurts in the 2nd.

Foles, Hurts, Bray
I wanted to see Bray at the end of the season. You know - because the season was over, there was no remaining mystery about what 10 is, and there's always the draft position to consider (ahem... with two 2nds and no first that's even more important).
In hindsight I think Bray could have performed at least as well as 10 versus the Vikes bench. So the draft spot improvement angle might not have been there. But I would have liked to see him play in a real NFL game even against 2nd string just because. Because I thought he actually looked interesting in junk time in preseason.
So I wanted to see him just for shits & grins. But I guess that wouldn't have served Pace's weak attempt to pretend he wasn't looking for a QB.

I hope so, although it'll have to be a late round flyer. No way in Hades we use a day 2 pick on a QB in win now mode.RustyTrubisky wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 11:02 ami do 100% believe he's just keeping the seat warm for whoever we draft.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Unless Pace does Pace things, trades both 2nds to pick up 3's and 4's.Mikefive wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 6:19 pmI hope so, although it'll have to be a late round flyer. No way in Hades we use a day 2 pick on a QB in win now mode.RustyTrubisky wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 11:02 am

I agree. Unless someone falls (Hebert - Since he's kind of a Wentz-ish dude), I don't see the Bears doing anything until the 5th or so.Mikefive wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 6:19 pmI hope so, although it'll have to be a late round flyer.
