I would like to see the NFL adopt what the XFL was doing for replay decisions ... an official reviewer right there in the stadium where the game is being played doing the review and making a call ... it was nice to listen to these guys explain what they were looking at, especially when there was more than 1 thing involved on a particular play ... I thought they did an excellent job with this

and I would hope the NFL would take note and kick idiot fathead Al Riveron to the curb along with the rest of the Society of the Blind people he had doing reviews in New York ... nothing against blind folks mind you, just that they aren't the best candidates for visual reviews

well that sucks

if we're lucky, the former XFL booth officials will replace Al Riveron and his goons

Sad to hear. It seems they had a real chance this time if it wasn't for the virus.

Just an update on this, the NFC East was selected to receive the exemptions this year. Here's the breakout:

  • Giants - Sandro Platzgummer - RB - Austria
  • Eagles - Matt Leo - DE - Australia
  • Washington - David Bada - DE - Germany
  • Cowboys - Isaac Alarcon - OL - Mexico

That's a weird "investment" to make.

You drop a mil and it could make you back a lot, but probably it's just totally gone in a matter of months.

Feels like a spin of the roulette wheel would make just as much sense.
