Financially how would that work out for the Bears? Let 10 play in this asterisk season that won't really count anyway when it's all said & done. Save the Foles money but have him for '21 plus either 10 or someone else?

Not to go all conspiracy theorist, but if we lose enough of our best players to opting out...do you think the management gently pushes all of the team to opt out and tries to just abandon the season? Or is the money worth more than being competitive to them?

I think that's what the Patriots are doing. Think of their offseason and Six players already opting. Looks like they're striving for the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.

if there is a player on offense planning to opt-out, i think its more likely Allen Robinson who hasnt been extended.
