Bears win 20-10. Homer in me thinks Trubisky has THE game where the lights turn on, the realist says defense and a new run scheme carries the team.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Caleb, and Hell followed with him.

Ridley's slide down the pecking order is a little disappointing. There was some positive talk about him during the offseason and early in camp. Let's hope it's a sign Pace has landed on something special with Mooney and that it's also a result of Wims improving.

I think it's a little of everything. Wims responded to a challenge and Ridley's not playing up to his potential, plus the TE room is crowded with talent.HisRoyalSweetness wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 11:24 am Ridley's slide down the pecking order is a little disappointing. Mooney clearly employed that speed to win a spot.

man, that throw to robinson in the end zone that ended up being an incompletion was one of the nicest throws i've ever seen out of trubs. that was a fucking missile running full speed.

Our 3rd down defense is atrocious

Nagy shit the bed again at the end of the half. Along with his early 4th and 7 blunder, he’s costing us this game.

So far so
Running game has been there all day, why not make some space with a quick run then take some shots. I don't know man... Not seeing anything new from Trubisky and coaching isn't making me feel too good either.
Lions take the lead at halftime. Why did I forget to buy beer before this game

My leash with Nagy is short, I'm almost done with him already. He absolutely, 100% cost us today. We likely lose this game because of him. Hoping we have a better 2nd half, but we aren't good enough to overcome coaching blunders like this. He's a goddamn fool.

Tied with a minute to go and the ball, to be down 7 a minute later is inexcusable
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Caleb, and Hell followed with him.

Right or wrong, that halftime assessment was pretty brutal and a little unfair on Trubs.

Trubisky isn’t our problem right now. Nagy doesn’t understand situational football, and our defense is soft again. Thx Chuck for this bend don’t break GARBAGE. No sacks no turnovers, typical Pagano D.

The defense gives up back to back scoring drives and all of a sudden the Bears look utterly irrelevant.

The offense is garbage and somehow the D looks worse.

Not sure what that's about, but I've been in the discord on a new macbook all day, so *shrug.*
Also the Bears are bad and we're facing a bit of a teardown this offseason, so that's fun.
