Weird. The NFL game tracker has been broken for just the Bear game for over an hour.

Let's go D. I'm glad this team doesn't give up so easily compared to some others here.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Caleb, and Hell followed with him.

What a money throw there from Mitch to Miller
2023 Preseason Downside prediction:
5-6 wins, never really healthy all season, a constant shuffling.
We're potentially in a position to draft in the Top 5 again, depending on the Carolina team, and probably have a low-teens (or better) pick ourselves.

Cutler game for Trubisky. Three quarters of garbage and a HOF fourth quarter. Kudos to the defense for hanging tight in an awful situation at the end of the game. They nearly blew it - arguably they DID blow it, but hey - a win is a win.

WOW. 10 balled out and I'm proud of him for not caving after the shaky start. It's the Lions, but damn, that's got to be a huge confidence builder.

I’d love to see Foles start next week.
Trubisky got the W, but the whole first half was crap. And the 3rd quartet was a crap shoot.
He missed 2 easy TDs that most any other starter Would make.
Yeah, he did get hot in the 4th, but how much did we let get away in the other 3 quarters

I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

well that game had a little bit of everything, good and bad
a nice recovery from a complete shitshow first half
I think Mitch may have had a moment with himself on the sideline where he realized "we lose this game, I could be benched, and never see the field again" ... everything he was doing wrong in the first half - falling backwards while throwing, missing open receivers, bad field presence - all corrected in just 1 quarter of football
of course if the Lions RB could catch, the Bears would have lost anyway in spite of Mitch's 4th quarter renaissance ... but he couldn't ... and I'll happily take the win
there is much the Bears need to work on but that work will be made easier with a W in spite of flaws and errors

There’s a lot to unpack in this game. All I know right now is the Bears put together a 21-0 4th quarter to win the game. In divisional game, on the road.
Great stuff.

The defense blew the game, sadly, and are lucky the rookie dropped the wide open end zone catch. Mack, Hicks, and the line need to come to Jesus, because aside from one pointless sack in the latter stages of the game, there was no pass rush.

I really feel like a week 1 loss to the Lions would crush our season, I’m so glad we came back and caught a huge break on that drop at the end.
Our defense was putrid IMO. Pagano sucks so hard, just waiting for Nagy to realize it and fix it.

Gotta think that Hicks and Mack have issues with injury still. Hicks kind of got going in the later portion of the game, and it opened things up for Nichols to make some plays. Mack drew a holding call and was definitely verbally there all game, but he was effectively neutralized. Something lower body is holding him back, because he can't get as low as he used to. Playing so high will net you a lot of obvious holds, but rarely provides QB pressures/sacks. I'm curious how the All22 will expand on the lack of pass rush.

We were an EASY catch / drop away from giving up 30 today. Pagano = Mel Tucker. I’m not sure we can overcome him.

Man... Mitch was shaky for a bit but he was ice fucking cold when he needed to be. That game was an emotional roller coaster.
Putting up 21 unanswered points on the road in like 11 minutes was ridiculous.
The defense needs to figure it out though.

I'm not 100% ready to blame Pagano. I would shed zero tears if he was fired, but I think we're all seeing how much of a treasure Fangio was, and how brilliant of a gamesman he is. He's missed in that building.
Losing Goldman and Quinn not dressing sucked, but nothing's scarier than Khalil Mack being a non-factor, which he mostly was. That worries me a ton.

Glad they got the win.
Keeping it real, the Lions lost that game, the Bears didn't win it. No preseason so not gonna gripe about things just yet, didn't expect a pretty game going into this one. Trubisky did play a good 4th quarter, if he can do that consistently I'd be real happy.
Glad the Lions dropped that ball and gave the Bears the win.
