Feels like Christmas morning!

I’m wearing my Roquan jersey today, As promised, the wife has her Trubisky jersey on - white to match to road colors today (yes she has both home and away Mitch jerseys).

I put all off season whining aside today and just want to win, however it happens just win baby. Tired of starting off 0-1, let’s get this thing going right away! My keys to victory:

1. Let the kid play. I’m with G08 here, let it rip Mitch! If you are gonna fail, go down swinging. If you are gonna succeed, it will be by playing loose, using your legs, and taking shots downfield.

2. Don’t Be You, Matt. Stick with the running game even if it isn’t working early. Wear them down and keep your defense rested as best you can. Nagy must stick with his plan to run the ball more / better this year and it starts in Detroit.

3. Strike first. Strike Hard. No mercy. Yes, Cobra Kai is amazing. Our defense needs to follow the way of the fist today and be aggressive, hit and hit hard.

Chuck Pagano has the defense ready, agressive, and mean!!
I'm gone. Have a nice life. I'm clearly not wanted here.

You just reminded me I have a Bears jersey I'll never wear again (54). I guess I'll be rocking Mack this year.

I sure hope so. I obviously don't believe in Chuckles, but he has so much talent out there I'm hoping they overcome him.

Opening Sunday sure is sweet, even with all the troubles in the world today.

I'm getting my grill fired up to smoke a pork shoulder. Hoping the Bears deliver their first opening day win in awhile, especially with it being another divisional game to kick off the season.

Bear down fellas!

I'm keeping it simple. Never been a MAKE ALL THE FOOD AND LET'S GET DRUNK football Sunday person. I normally watch with a few webpages pulled up and either coffee or a beer in hand.

After the Bears play I'm generally done with football for the week. I'm sure if I had neighbors who were big NFL fans who treated the day as more of a tailgate party where my wife could consolidate with their SOs and lifeboat away from football, my POV would change, but I like having the opportunity to quietly watch and not make a big deal out of things.

Missed the opener. Too nice of a day. The wife and I were in the Dubuque area hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Decided I have to enjoy it while we can. Ended well thank goodness.

That 20 yard scramble after escaping the sack and getting facemasked was incredible.
