I think that was some of the thinking beyond the guess that he was angry for not being able to hit the escalators/incentives. Some people said he is hurting for cash and needed them.

No bet.
There is a GM named Poles
Who has a clear set of goals
He’s rebuilt his team
So Bears’ fans can dream
Of winning some more Super Bowls

Michael Hutchence , the eccentric and tempermental lead singer of INXS, was attacked one time coming home from a pub. He experienced a head trauma that changed him substantially. He became incredibly difficult and compulsive and complained about it and never felt right. Everyone in his life said it changed his personality completely and eventually he killed himself.

Antonio Brown, some years ago, was clocked hard by Vontaze Burfict in a hit that left Brown limp on the field. It is entirely possible that he's always been a little off. But his behavior over the years has gotten worse and many people are tracing it back to that hit on the field.

Or, an alternate theory here, he went full jackass when he finally got big dollars in 2016. The year after the Burfict hit.

Either one is possible. In one case I’d feel awful for the guy, in the other not at all. We will probably never know.

He's definitely progressed to verse 2 level miscreancy.
Can he take the next step?
