Sometimes when celebrities die, TBH, I'm happy or I don't care if the person was a total prick.

Other times, it is sad as hell and gets to you.

This is one of those.

I'm sure you guys have seen in the news the Meat Loaf died. Just wanted to create a thread and share some songs that we all know and love.

That whole rock opera thing he was into was so unique and fun. What a blessing of a human being.

Meatloaf (& Steinman) were great.

Did something very different and did it well.



I can't think of Meatloaf without remembering this, though.
It's like an acid trip, but somehow not.

I count 'Bat Out of Hell' among my favorite albums. A great loss to rock n' roll. This song should be put in time capsule in case teen make out sessions are no more. Terrible audio, the studio version is much better but it's cool to see the band also:
