I know nothing about the draft but what's the advantage to this? Is it to just lock up potential UDFAs they really like?

Strategically, I wonder if they're looking at someone like, say, Damone Clark at that point. I dunno, just speculating.

IF this is a very deep draft as most are saying (and makes sense, post-covid impact) ... having two 7ths this year might be like having two 6th rounders in a normal draft.

This is great - getting more picks it looks like! I'll say it again (and I said it 2 years ago)... covid made this an unusual draft, in that it is stacked deep with guys who played an extra year plus guys who would regularly come out. It could end up being the deepest draft ever.

Bears have 10 picks!

Some really intriguing players are coming off the board while we trade down. First McCollum, then Tycen Anderson.
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.

Friendship is better than fighting, but fighting is more useful.
