I hate all Marvel movies other than the first Iron Man.
Really even The Avengers ones including Infinity War and End Game?
I tried to like Captain America. Its literally a comic made for me. Yet the actor is such a pussy. He looks like he is going to cry in every scene. Or Thor wtf the mythology of thor is interesting as fuck. All of its terrible.
I did like the origional captain America and iron man. Then woof. Its brain dead imagery with stupidity sprayed shit across the series. I just couldn't continue.
Edit : I'll add 1 season of game of thrones. Sure hot chicks. But it's not good. It's just not.
Case in point Hurricane. Who is the angry, spiteful one personally attacking others here?
Folks are so thin skinned they lose their shit at the slightest things.
Not angry or spiteful or personally attacking just joining in on the fun of the thread and taking the piss.
Just a joke, no need to be sensitive about it.
Ok my bad.
Regarding the Avengers, I guess the older I get I just don’t care to see muscle dudes in tights and capes and all. Iron Man was semi realistic in that it was incredible tech that seems feasible some day, but dudes flying around in capes, magic hammers, and all that is just too much for me now. I don’t judge anyone who likes it, most of my friends do, I’ve just grown out of it I guess.

Sounds like it just isn't a genre you're into, sort of like how I have no interest in seeing horror movies. "Growing out" of something means it's something only meant for a certain age group which I don't think is the case. And I don't know why muscle dudes in tights bothers you since that's essentially what football is. Well, minus the capes. haha

I respect the points about the individual superhero movies. A lot of them are soft. It's also the same boring ass Hero's Journey arc for the first movie.
Where Marvel makes it up is that I think the Avengers movies are amazing. All of them except for Ultron which I thought what average. To me, Infinity War and Endgame are in my top list of best movies I've ever seen in my life and yes I like a lot of universal classics.
RE: Game Of Thrones. The soft core porn speaks for itself. Melisandre is Boner City.
My problem with Game Of Thrones is that the ending sucked and I called the two "winners" very early on.

When I was younger I would’ve loved it, I loved Superfriends cartoon as a kid. Voltron (the 4 Lions version). I used to love wrestling now I can’t believe I used to like it. I personally grew out of these things, but haven’t grown out of other things I liked at the same age like Bugs Bunny, or ice cream. So it’s not an age thing per se, just a personal thing. To each his own!
Capes in football would be cool for the horse collar calls alone! Haha

Been very interested in Mooney's career. Many good WRs have been drafted at rounds other than #1 and Mooney is doing his darnest to enter this conversation. I'm very pleased with his advancing skills. Is he a true #1? I don't know but any guy putting up over 1000 yards per year receiving is welcome on the Bears. I'm also looking forward to seeing how Getsy moves him around and uses him. I'm also looking forward to seeing what Pringle can do. He was underutilized at KC, seems to have talent, he could have a very good year. I wanted the Bears to look at bringing in Landry in the slot but he's still demanding an exorbitant salary and is older than Pringle.
Missed this reply. My bad. Pretty much agree with everything you had to say there.
My mother's love was inexplicably linked to kickball.
This girl that was a family friend of ours (who I totally should have hooked up with years later but that's an entirely different story) was an ENORMOUS Lancelot Link fan. She had a lunchbox, and a book, and a calendar...all Lancelot Link related. (There probably wasn't a whole lot of other Lancelot merch available, to be honest.)

We were so poor we couldn't even afford a TV set. All I had was a transistor radio and an Etch-a-Sketch to play pretend TV with.

Time were tough in those days when the only work a guy could find was being an honest politician in the Daley Machine.
Not much call for that kind of work around there let me tell you.
