I agree. IMO, I think Quinn's value is round 4 or lower and most posters have said that is too low. I get the feeling Poles does as well or I believe Quinn would have been traded already. If we take it as that compensation is too low, I'd chose the OL over Quinn, even an aging guy like Martin.

To be clear - I don't think it will ever happen, purely hypothetical. If I were GM, i'd take the 4th or 5th and call it a day. Probably why I am not a GM

I think it would be nice if the Bears weren't "evaluating" every single player on offense for "the future." I'll rethink my views on Martin. For some reason I was thinking thinking I had read something about this being the last year of his contract. Just looked it up and he has 3 years left (much like Quinn). If it's a 4th round pick or him, you may be right that he does do more to help this team than that pick. If we could get a 3rd or 2 4ths maybe I like the picks more.

It might be hard for Cowboys to trade Martin even if they wanted to (which I doubt)

You speed up something like 12 Million ish in Cap Hit to trade him - and then would have to take the Quinn contract on as well
