Marshall Goes To Atlantic City: The Armpit Of The Universe

So the big national baseball card show is this week in Atlantic City. My kid and I went for Wednesday and Thursday and flew back home today.

The show itself was fantastic for me.

However, holy shit was that an exposure to society.

Some of you guys already know that I'm kind of a shut-in (sort of; I'm just a grouch) and I hate traveling. I get it, some of this could be me.

Also, I don't drink, smoke or gamble. Once in a blue moon I have a glass of wine or a bourbon or something. I don't judge, I just don't do it.

So we stayed at Bally's. Wow were there some interesting people there. It's 4am this morning and there are people gambling in the casino.

Crazy people outside, pacing back and forth, literally TALKING to a poker chip.

So we flew First Class there and back from ORD to Philadelphia and had a driver take us from Philadelphia to Atlantic City.

Then the flight home. This Karen brings her baby on board and I got to sit next to the mom (Who breastfed the kid too. No she didn't have a good rack.) with the screaming kid in First Class.

Also, any of you guys go to Atlantic City? The cell reception there sucked too.

Did I just do this wrong? Is Bally's just a bad hotel? I just picked something close to the convention center.
