No, not the final score, but on the individual groups. Pick and choose as you please, and add your own if so led.

OL
- Who starts?
- How long will the starters play together?
- Will Jenkins get any snaps?

QB
- How long does Fields play?
- Who comes in after him, how long will each play?

Receivers
- How long do Mooney and Kmet play?

Defense
- Does Quinn even dress for the game?
- How many rookies start?
- More 3 LB or 2 LB sets?

+++++++++++

For OL: Jones, Whitehair, Mustipher, Schofield, Borom start and they'll play the first half. Jenkins will dress but not play.

Fields plays one quarter, Siemian plays one quarter, Peterman the second half.

Mooney and Kmet only in for a quarter and probably may only see a pass or two as Bears stick to ground game.

Quinn does not dress for the game, three rookies start (Brisker, Gordon, Robinson), about 30/70 3 LB vs 2 LB sets.
San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

McNagy finally figures out the why behind him getting fired as the Bears offense appears competent.

I expect it's gonna be a real life-changing humiliation for him.

How cool is that?

I think they're going to let Fields air it out a bit from time and time and he's going to give us a lot to be excited about.

Otherwise I need to see this game so I have My Guy that I root for like last year with Horsted.

I don't have any confidence they can operate well enough to embarrass him properly - not this early, with lots of WR out, and the OL barely knows each other still.

Radio show was speculating yesterday about how many handshakes and greetings he would get from ex-players, though.
That could provide awkwardness & embarrassment.

Fields plays 2 series at the start of the game and is yanked.

OL: Jones/Whitehair/Mustipher/Scofield/Reiff start and play a quarter. Subs (Borom/Simmons/Mustipher/Carter/Jenkins play the rest of the game

WR: The Bears have to make a public address request for any former high school/college WRs at the game to come down and dress for the game

I have no idea how they will perform. I am just looking forward to seeing some Bears football. I will be paying attention to the young guys to see what they got and do not have. The starters will not be in long enough to get a good sample size though. Two series won't be a large enough sample size to make any determinations. Any attempt to do so is just making a knee jerk reaction to a tiny view of the future play.

This will be my first ever look at the Rookies. I live over the pond (even further than our members in the UK) and do not get college football where I live. So Rookies are just highlight reels at this point.

7 hours and counting.

Go Bears!
A new Era begins in the NFC North!

Sadly, it does not involve the Bears.... :frustrated:

I want life-changing humiliation for Matt Nagy and I want it to start today and stretch out for five miserable years behind the eight ball.

Since I was the only one who made all of these predictions, let's see how close it got:
For OL: Jones, Whitehair, Mustipher, Schofield, Borom start and they'll play the first half. Jenkins will dress but not play.

Fields plays one quarter, Siemian plays one quarter, Peterman the second half.

Mooney and Kmet only in for a quarter and probably may only see a pass or two as Bears stick to ground game.

Quinn does not dress for the game, three rookies start (Brisker, Gordon, Robinson), about 30/70 3 LB vs 2 LB sets.
Naming the starters not a big deal, but surprising that Jenkins played as much as he did. Starting OL could have used more game time to work together rather than only playing while JF was on the field, but I guess the coaches wanted to see how the backups performed.
IIRC, Peterman only got the 4th qtr.
Mooney only played while JF was on the field, Kmet DNP. Surprising the Bears passed as much as they did.
Did not see Quinn at all, even in a polo, Gordon DNP, don't think Robinson started, looked like they played more 3 vs 2 LB sets.
