Everyone is talking about how awesome the Packers defense is going to be, and they are ranked in the top 10 of the NFL Power Rankings. I'm watching the first half of this game and I'm not seeing it. Their secondary looks lost. Rogers looks confused without Devante Adams to throw to.
I have no doubt that the Packers are a good team. But as always the national media is hyping up fucking Green Bay ad nauseum.

IIRC, Rodgers has done this a few times early in the season then turns it on. I'm not celebrating his demise just yet

Ed Donatell is doing a number on the Pack. Just one game, but the Vikings look awfully good.
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.
Friendship is better than fighting, but fighting is more useful.

Davante Adams went off for the Raiders even though they lost while Erin had a poor game. Erin's probably gritting his teeth hard enough to crack one.

I’m certainly not dismissing Rodgers after game one. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen his accuracy quite that….off.

It seems most people on the Packers subreddit are hand-waving it off as just that, referring it to "preseason game 1". Will be interesting to see if we beat them and then they get beat by the Bucs, if they continue to refer to them as preseason games.

The Cheesedicks gave up 126 yards on the ground. Something to be mindful of for this week.

One game certainly doesn't make a season. The Pack have stunk in their last 3 season openers and look where they finished. But their D, which was so vaunted, let Jefferson go off for almost 200 yards and was soft on the run.

It was a beautiful game to watch. A A Ron getting pizzed at his WRs, WRs dropping balls, A A Ron getting smoked a few times. Yea, he will definitely come back and make some teams pay (if he can stay healthy).

Man, watching GB receivers drop touchdowns and consistently running wrong routes was fun. I just hope this continues for the rest of the season. If it does, we may actually get to see Rodgers lose his shit and retire mid season.
