Extending him was already looking dicey. Now? Ouch.

But, sadly, I can't see this helping our Quest To Trade any.

They are on the hook for so so so so so much money.

Conceivably they can trade him after June 1 2023. But no one is going to take on that contract.

His guarantees are pretty wack too.

He was injured on a noncontact play, he slipped. Call it the JF factor but several weeks ago, he expressed the desire to run the ball more.

Broken record time: I fear non contact injuries far more than big hits. Been saying this for a while. And specific to hits, I fear a QB getting crushed on a sack more than I fear downfield contact while running with the ball.

that was so weird how Murray injured himself ... it was the type of bizarre knee blowout that happens on turf, but the Cardinals play on real grass

I strongly believe though that non-contact injuries like that arent just wild flukes. I dont think Lamarr Houston went up with a healthy ACL and came down with a complete tear. I think dozens if not hundreds of hits/stressors wear away at tendons/ligaments and so many of these guys knees/achilles/etc are just ticking time bombs.

So I dont believe you can look at Kyler's non-contact injury and say it has nothing to do with all the hits the little dude has taken as a runner.

Agreed.

Sometimes it all happens in one moment, but many times not.

No, I can't give a percentage.

I still think he's a bust. He will never take Arizona anywhere except purgatory. Good thing they caved in and gave him the big team killing contract.
