So, my subscription to The Athletic ends on Jan. 5. They wanted $71.00 to renew and i decided not to, a bit too steep. However, after making my choice, an offer to renew for $24.00 popped up along with a subscription to some sports site run by by the New York Times. How could I resist?
Where are my old Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?

Same.

I was vacillating at $71, because I think the content is quite good. But $24 made it a no-brainer.

They tack it on for free with a new york times subscription, which is nice. I've never been able to pull the trigger on an athletic subscription since anything interesting just trickles down to us plebes eventually anyway.

I've subscribed to the NYT for a long time but I didn't realize it included The Athletic. Now I'll be on a higher plane of sports intellectualism and it didn't cost me any more, thanks to you. Great to know, my friend.
