Keep:
- Blasingame (still need competition)
- Darrynton Evans (RB3)
- Harry (he and ESB fight for last spot)
- DHC (STer)
- Montgomery (cheap or let walk, he is the #2)
- Morrow (solid depth/spot starter)
- Reiff (fight for swing OT)
- Scales (LS doesn't seem to screw up)

Potential Preseason Cuts:
- Griffin (fights Wesco for TE3)
- Sam Mustipher (I think I just want to cut him, not let him walk)
- Pennel
- Pettis (returner competition)
- Joe Thomas (ST depth)
- Trevon Wesco

Let walk:
- Adams
- Blackson
- Josh Blackwell
- Breon Borders
- Boyle
- Andrew Brown
- Cruikshank
- Dozier
- Dieter Eiselen
- Lee
- Peterman
- Pringle
- Schofield
- Armon Watts

This front office seems to have a blind spot for Ghost.
He must be the best in practice every week.

I like the Bears having a true FB on the roster. It's not a position for a rookie. So because they didn't keep one on the PS last year, they need a FA. Jakob Johnson is the only one I would consider beside Blasingame.

Matches his blind spot while looking for DL.

I want Warren to hand him his papers directly. If he does that I'll have a custom Warren jersey made.

Guy loses his eyesight at half time and can’t catch a cold.
Hopefully his blurred vision has cleared up and he's back to 100% soon. :flick:

Isn't Whitehair a RFA for 2023?

I really like the "launch into the sun" option for some of these guys

Who was the WalMart guy pressed into service on defense that forced a fumble in the Vikings game?

No, the extension he signed in 2019 voids after the 2024 season. Although they can designate him a post June 1st cut and save quite a bit of money.

Whitehair's way past the point where he's Restricted. He's only Unrestricted for the rest of his career.

Contact:

Poles won't throw babies out with the bathwater, and he views a lot of these guys as "players who could be good contributors on a good team". How they played this past season given the circumstances probably doesn't move him much at all.

I see these as likely staying:

UFA :
- Adams
- Blasingame
- Cruikshank
- DHC
- Montgomery
- Morrow
- Peterman
- Pringle
- Scales
- Joe Thomas
- Armon Watts
- Trevon Wesco

EFAs:
- Josh Blackwell

RFAs:
- Sam Mustipher
- Darrynton Evans

And these gone (unless they get re-signed as camp bodies in a few cases)

- Harry (I think someone else will pay him more)
- Pettis (I think the only way he stays is if Mooney can't come back early in the season or Poles really hates the FA and WR draft class and just doesn't do much there)
- Blackson (Pace guy who Poles will be actively replacing in FA and draft)
- Dieter Eiselen (Pace guy)
- Pennel (was always a one-season placeholder)
- Andrew Brown (could be wrong about this guy he might be signed cheap and brought back depending on how deep goes on the DL in FA/draft)
- Dozier (was always a one-season placeholder)
- Griffin (was always a one-season placeholder)
- Schofield (was always a one-season placeholder)
- Reiff (was always a one-season placeholder)
- Lee (who knows)
- Breon Borders (who knows)
- Boyle (I think Poles will draft a QB late)

Huge mistake paying that guy by the letter not the game
