This almost didn’t age well.
Well done Lions. Added bonus - Packers draft pick will be about 15.

There is a GM named Poles
Who has a clear set of goals
He’s rebuilt his team
So Bears’ fans can dream
Of winning some more Super Bowls

LOLOL. The cherry on top is the interception Rodgers threw when the Pack was trying to win the game. Now the Erin drama will ramp up again.

the Lions made that final regular season prime time game shine ... a very solid performance made especially happy by their win occurring in Green Bay to eliminate the Packers ... well done
he certainly has the players attention ... Lions could have folded with their early season struggles but they righted themselves and were in it to the end, and I think Dan Campbell was a big part of that

Campbell is a meathead who's schtick will probably wear off before the Lions can mount any sustained success...but I really do love that dude.

I don't like making predictions this soon after the season has ended, but I don't think he plays for the Packers again.
Houston doesn't want to rebuild... and they have two very high picks.

Love is demanding a trade if Rodgers doesn't leave. So, time to choose has come.
Given that one is old and worth more in trade and they missed the playoffs for the first time in a while - I think you gotta go young here and use the picks to help him out.

Erin has said in an interview with Pat McAfee that he wants more MVPs, not so much talk about more Super Bowl wins. No less than Gronk vlasted him for focusing on individual rather than team awards.

I know it won't happen, but I'd prefer he simply hangs it up.
If he is traded, they get draft capital. But how much is a 39 year old QB worth? Is a team really going to give up a top 10 pick for him?

I asked that in the 'Who Needs a QB' thread. Seattle got 2 firsts, 2 seconds, a 5th, and 3 players for 34 year old Russell Wilson, who then failed miserably this year. A team on the cusp - Jets, Commandos, Dolphins might want that vet guy who can still dial it up, maybe put them over the top.Arkansasbear wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:16 pm I know it won't happen, but I'd prefer he simply hangs it up.

It would be weird if he went to the Jets. So many shades of Favre.

Jets hired Nathaniel Hackett today as their new OC! Throw gasoline on the Rodgers to Jets trade rumors!
