Any betting pools: fattest player, most reps lifting weights, stupidest interview? Make it more interesting.
Stroud, Levis, and Richardson are going to throw and run. Young said he would not participate in those drills. I believe he has appointments to be stretched as much as possible on a rack to get enough height to satisfy GMs.

For those interested, stand-out players from the HBCU combine. Some interesting talent, I wonder how many of these guys end up as UDFAs:

I think Poles and 'flus both saying their like their DL's "long" doesn't bode well for the Pittsburgh DT in Chicago.
But a 4.73 might keep it alive.
EDIT: and he grew an inch! lol
INDIANAPOLIS -- Pitt Panthers defensive tackle Calijah Kancey got his week at the NFL Combine off to a good start. He exceeded expectations at both his weigh in and in the 40-yard dash, the first scouting event of the week on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Kancey checked in at 6'1 and 281 pounds. He is an inch taller than his listed height from college and a pound heavier than what he weighed at Pitt. Kacney's arms, however, were short - just 30 5/8 inches - and his hands measured 9 1/8 inches across.

Calijah Kancey thought experiment: knowing what you know now about his play, where would you draft Ed Oliver?

Holy shit they have Adebawore listed as running 4.54 at 282 pounds!!!!
Damn you can see him hit another gear when he starts to pick his head up at 3-5 yards. Wow

This stinks if true. I really wanted to see how he would run.

Are the majority of these DL and LBs undersized that are running this fast? Is that Will Anderson 40 a little surprising to anyone else? I don't follow the draft or college nearly as much as the rest of you

By and large, yeah.HurricaneBear wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 10:06 pm Are the majority of these DL and LBs undersized that are running this fast? Is that Will Anderson 40 a little surprising to anyone else? I don't follow the draft or college nearly as much as the rest of you
I'm putting together a pretty ambitious database this year, with some neat calculations against the average combine performances of recent All-Pros. Still entering info from today, and it's getting late, but so far the DL stars for me have been:
Habakkuk Baldanado (a shade undersized, but overperformed everywhere else)
Lukas Van Ness (exceeded the average All-Pro in *everything* aside from his vertical, and crushed the events that are the best predictors of a DE's success)
Jose Ramirez (something like 30-35 pounds lighter than Van Ness, but the only DE who outperformed him in every event)
Jalen Redmond (a bit undersized, just missed the mark on the shuttle)
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.
Friendship is better than fighting, but fighting is more useful.

I thought Campbell was a little too slow on the 40 yd dash and as Wulfy noted he does have the T-rex syndrome but other than that, his numbers scored well overall.
His RAS 9.98 score is much better than most probably expected from him... I think he should be good on the bench with those T-rex arms too!!
