"IF" we were to sign him this would be a depth FA addition... Has also played LG in a few games... Think practice squad/camp type guy and hope it would mean we cut Lucas Patrick!! :puke:

You DO understand why they did that - right? This comment makes it seem like they thought they were building a strong team, instead of just making low cost draconian moves to right the cap ship.

Asking not to repeat a deliberate one time thing is strange.

Yeah but dude tge situation is so different. Using last year to be concerned is so context free.

Poles knows what he needs to do.

Dre'mont Jones to the Seahawks for $50M/3years? So much for 3T being essential to this D. Signing a relatively unknown DE on the cheap although the guy actually had 7 sacks last year? Building the OL? Davis is an okay signing, strong guard play can help cover up weak OT play, but he plays RG and this move creates confusion with Jenkins while still leaving the Bears with a need.
