He is literally going to drag this out as long as possible just so it's all about him. He's going to be a total douchebag and sink GB's chances next year because he isn't their golden boy anymore, and no one there wants to keep sucking his dick. He is leaving for NY, he knows that he is, but he'll wait until the last minute to make his decision.

You know, maybe he really is a Bears' owner, because this is what I would want to see happen.Bears Whiskey Nut wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 1:55 pmHe's going to be a total douchebag and sink GB's chances next year because he isn't their golden boy anymore

Yep, yep, yep.thunderspirit wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 1:19 pmRyan Poles to Yosh Nijman when Green Bay finally takes the Rodgers dead cap hit.
For what it's worth, though, what happens if a team doesn't own its original second-rounder? Is it precluded from offering a contract to an RFA with a second-round tender? Come to think of it, why haven't they tendered Nijman by now, with less than 25 hours to go?
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.

Jets just signed Lazard. Watch Rodgers retire or refuse the trade.

I came here to post that - it would be funny if he left Lazard hanging. lolBears Whiskey Nut wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 3:29 pm Jets just signed Lazard. Watch Rodgers retire or refuse the trade.

The Jets deserve what they get for this if it goes through. And so will the diva when he goes to a conference where he's not the best quarterback anymore. He sure seemed to hate it when Old Tommy boy came over to the NFC. In the AFC, he's what fourth maybe 5th best quarterback?
Also am I the only one who doesn't think the Jets are just a quarterback away? Even with Rodgers the Bills, Chiefs and Bengals are all still clearly better imo

If I’m Rodgers……..I’m thinking I’m 39 years old, rich AF, great looking, single, and a partial owner of the Chicago Bears….do I want to spend the last few years of my career snatching tail in Green Bay Wisconsin or New York City? And my transition into a post career media job as well? Easiest decision ever.

Allen Lazzard signed by the Jets because His Eriness wanted this before committing: 4 years, $44M. Heard he wants Randall Cobb and 986 year old Mercedes Lewis also.

I'm not listening, but following Twitter feeds. Rodgers is on McAfeeshow and basically dragging Packers. Wants to go to Jets and Packers are holding it up over trade comp (his version of story).
I'm not a big soap guy, but pass the popcorn. This sounds juicy. Hoping it ends awfully for all involved!

We've been waiting for this since Brett Favre started killing it. Those assholes have had 30 years of HOF QB play and it had to end at some point. If Love turns out to be another great one (I highly, highly doubt it), then I think I'll just go find a nice bridge to jump off somewhere.

Why do you think Love will suck?
My mother's love was inexplicably linked to kickball.
