I don't have to be a fan of every player on that list to find this a pretty impressive job.

Beat me to it. That's the sum total of what the draft brought and IMHO it's pretty impressive.

It's seemingly completed the rebuild of the OL at RT, added two starting WR w/previous NFL production, added two 300lb plus athletic DT, one starting CB and another CB for depth, a RB who may be a steal as a 4th round pick, another WR with deep speed and ST skills, and a LB who like Sanborn can also pass rush. That's through round five only because they have the best chance of making the roster.

We also added 2024 1st and 4th round picks and a 2025 2nd round pick. Six of our ten picks are also top 100 ranked talent. Compared to anything I've seen in the last decade or more that's quite a haul.

Not much more to say at the moment. Rookie camp and some OTAs upcoming which is usually just working on installing the offense and defense with run throughs. About time to go back into hibernation 'til camp.

Speaking on NFL Network, @RapSheet cited two reasons why Kelee Ringo fell to No. 105.

1) Shoulder injury flagged during pre-draft process.

2) “Character considerations.” Questions about his work ethic.

Holy shit. I know that it’s probably some sort of psychological bit to see how he responds, but if it truly was just Blank being flippant…what an asshole.

Yeah it's in the article. Apparently it's a common thing to test prospects' patience when they get insulted.

Still though, reads terribly.

Another interesting tidbit is that the Bears, much to the relief of many here, barely considered Skoronski.

Weird isn’t it, commenting on the team on a fans message board.

What are the odds?
I feel you DD. You are free to express how you feel IMO and it doesn’t bother me at all. You’re not picking fights or strawmanning other peoples takes or anything. It’s a board designed to exchange ideas, group think is boring AF. I’ll keep trying to pull you into the light, I’m loving where we are right now
It wasn't just this post it has been every post since draft. He hated every pick. Hates everything Poles has done. Called many if not every draft pick a bust. Young men who haven't even stepped on the grounds of Halas Hall yet and they are all already a bust.

Just got tired of the constant bitchin. You are completely allowed to comment on anything. As am I. Just calling a spade a spade that's all.

Enjoy your day.

Bears sign four rookie draft picks to four-year deals

The Bears kicked off their rookie minicamp Thursday by signing the final four players they selected in the draft to four-year contracts.

The group consists of Oregon linebacker Noah Sewell, Minnesota cornerback Terell Smith, Kennesaw State defensive tackle Travis Bell and Stanford safety Kendall Williamson.

So all draft picks have signed already. You can tell Cliff Stein's back in charge of negotiations.

You misread, as I did at first. The Bears signed the bottom 4 draft picks. They're working from the bottom up as usual.

Ah, I stand corrected Middleguard. I didn't think I'd seen anything about the other draftees signing, so was a bit surprised.

3 more signed...
Bears sign draft picks Wright, Pickens, Scott

The Bears on Monday signed three of their 2023 draft picks: first-round tackle Darnell Wright, third-round defensive tackle Zacch Pickens and fourth-round receiver Tyler Scott.
...

The three members of the Bears' 2023 draft class who remain unsigned are second-round defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr., second-round cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and fourth-round running back Roschon Johnson.

Definitely a great haul so far - but it is only "final" in terms of the results after the '23 draft. Given that Panther pick could easily turn into multiple other future picks, this trade could have a Laremy Tunsil trade-like tail on it. Which is awesome.
