I know people are going to see this and draw David Montgomery parallels. But I think RoJo has better vision than Monty.

I loved the dude, but I admittedly would get frustrated when he'd miss an open spot and slam into the back of a lineman instead.

Really liked him coming out. But I think he is nothing more than a great football player, not necessarily a great RB. If he turns into another Montgomery-type back I will be happy.

Still think we will be drafting a RB next year.

But I am wrong.

I heard his RB coach at Texas in an interview say, "No matter how good Bijan was, Roschon was the leader of our RB room."

That's a pretty solid endorsement right there.

I'd peg him at 5'10" 165lbs, so prob not. We'd just have to extrapolate a full season after her gets Johnny Knox'd the first time he's tackled.

He was on my short list at HB and I was regularly sim drafting him since January.

That said, I think people here were sleeping on him before the draft and have been overhyping him since.

He has lots of strong traits - leadership/character, hard running/tackle breaking, special teams contribution, pass pro.
But the lack of speed/agility is a serious limiting factor that won't go away.
He's very David Montgomery-like...who was taken in early 3 and generally viewed as an overdraft - at least in retrospect, if not sooner.
The idea the Bears have floated that he was a R2 quality prospect is nonsense. He doesn't have the college production track record (sure, being behind Bijan is no shame, but it still means you don't know about him being the man or having the durability). And he doesn't have the quality athleticism you'd like, either. He looks very much like a well-rounded backup or shared starter at the high end.

I don't think I would have gone as high as 115, but HB is one of the easiest positions to outplay a late draft ranking/selection, so it could work.
