“I’d think if he can get somewhere between 7.0 and double-digit sacks,” said a source,” that should be enough to get a deal done."

I mean and water's wet. If he comes out and plays well, it falls right in line with what Poles wants to do - draft guys, develop them, re-sign them.

I was shocked to see he was the most double teamed EDGE guy in the NFL. But I guess you target the tallest midget when figuring out who plan against.

Yeah, AQM was basically a turtle flipped over on it's shell on the other side. So not too shocking that Trevis got the attention.

That may be insulting to turtles flipped over on their shells. I mean I think they eventually figure out how to fix the problem.

Gipson would have to have a pretty remarkable turnaround IMO.

On top of a weak 2021 I think his draft status hurts him. I think he's a very long shot to play well enough to change his rep but I'm optimistic that he will prove that he's worth signing as home grown depth.

I don't see why he can't get 7+ sacks when he's already done it basically. Probably depends on his snap distribution with Walker, DomRob and whover else.

He was good when he had Quinn on the line.
Maybe Walker can have an impact on him or maybe we throw a contract at Quinn. He certainly had a positive influence on the defense and he was missed in the locker room.

I'm from Missouri on this one: Show Me

Hard to take a leap of faith here without some stronger signs of future production.

Is it?

I mean he just needs to play like the year before, not last year - Hopefully without as many people being able to key in on him.

Its not like they are asking him to become Bruce Smith
