Maybe. I guess I just dont take it that seriously. As long as I see some semblance of logic in things, even of they're not exactly what I would do in the same situation, I can't gripe too much.

Ah, that's a big exaggeration.thunderspirit wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 9:25 amEvery single draft, every single coach, every single free agent.
It's the Mori way.
There probably were a few years among the last 30+ where I hated almost everything. Or the awful decisions were so critical that they rendered the not-awful ones irrelevant.
Most years that's not the case.
This year, your own draft comments
By my count, I'd say roughly:Wright: Love it
Dexter: I like this one
Stevenson: Meh. Not a fan.
Pickens: I'm okay with this.
Johnson: Wasn't on my list because I was convinced Poles would be after someone faster
Scott: Not real high on Scott
Sewell: I'm not at all high on Sewell
Smith: He's worth a flyer
Bell: Knew nothing about him
Williamson: Williamson is a decent prospect.
Positive = 2-3
Negative = 3-4
Lukewarm = 3-4
No Opinion = 1
I'm only a little more critical of the draft than that.
I'm just being more verbose and did mine much later than everyone else, so it's more conspicuous.
I don't feel like getting exhaustive about FA, but off the top of my head:
I didn't like passing on Jamal Dean
I was fine with passing on OTs, given the prices
Not remembering any DL passes that bothered me either
Liked Billings as a short-term budget pickup
Loved getting Foreman
Liked Tonyan
Didn't like spending so heavily on LB
Fine with bringing Davis in, a bit meh about the price
Loved the Roquan trade
Hated the Claypool trade
Liked the Quinn trade

It does seem like your MO much of the time, though, from this side of the screen. We've met before IRL and you weren't like that in person in those brief meetings. (Not that we had any great in-depth conversations at that time, mind you).
It feels like a bit, if you will. If I'm mistaken about it being a bit, mea culpa.
