If the Bears are out and the Packers are done then it’s very much a csse of “whatevs”.

Tough. Picking Chiefs only on Mahomes. I just don’t trust Jackson in the playoffs yet.

Niners - seeing what our defense did to the lions I have to believe San Francisco is going to destroy them.

I hate seeing the same team being successful year in year out. I got sick of the Patriots and the Chiefs seem to have taken over from them. So I'm just hoping the Chiefs will not make it to the big game yet again.

I don't hate it ... I look upon it as an opportunity to see how a real team operates to achieve both short term and long term goals, ensuring continued success

I wish the Bears had that same attitude ... just think of what they could learn from the hated Packers if they just paid attention

The Chiefs have a Top 3 defense. The WR group is really the only difference from this Chiefs team and prior ones. They still have Mahomes and Kelce and a good OL, and if anything their D is the best they’ve had during the Mahomes era.

Rooting for the Lions although it will be a tough one for them to win. Baltimore and KC may, actually, be a defensive battle.
Where are my old Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?

Perhaps. I thought KC and Buffalo would be lower scoring but they went over 50 points. I don't think KC punted until the 4th quarter. I still believe the Baltimore D will find a way to throttle down the KC offense. Will Jackson still be effective against the fast KC D?
San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

Chiefs
Lions

Picking against Mahomes would be like picking against Michael Jordan.

The Lions all the way. Such a great story there. I want them to win the whole thing.

While I love watching KC, Mahomes and the boys, I am picking the Ravens. I have money on so I have to get behind them. I would also like so see Jackson get to the SB.

Also, I will be rooting on the Lions, but am picking the 9ers. After hearing Goffs outdoor record compared to his performance indoors, it didn't inspire confidence.

I'd like to see the Lions win. Their fans deserve it.

I have always thought Dan Campbell is a big ol goof, and he is, but he can build a team. I'll be interested to see how the offense does next year if Johnson leaves for the Commanders.

Still, it's going to be KC or Baltimore winning the whole thing.

Add me to the list of rooting for the Lions. I really like Dan Campbell and would love to see their franchise make the SuperBowl for the first time. Go Lions!

Ravens looking overmatched physically today, not good. How does KC always have an OL that pushes people around? They are running right down their throat and Mahomes can have a picnic in the pocket.

Monken abandoning the run early is pissing me off. Gus has one carry so far, ridiculous.

Very fitting that Sneed punched the ball out at the goal line on Flowers after Flowers' taunting penalty during the same drive. Flowers has made some big plays, but the penalty and the turnover are huge negatives.

Maybe the ravens should celebrate when they get there vs after a first down behind by 10.

That play is up there with Jordan Love's game-ending pick against the 49ers. No need to press there.

The Ravens turned into the Raiders today. I will say, #14 (forgot his damn name) on the Ravens is a frickin beast.

Ravens were trying to press into what the Chiefs were taking away. Ravens had success running the ball and throwing underneath; then went into a straight drop back deep passing attack because they had 1 early deep pass to Flowers.

Gus ended with 3 runs for an average of 6.7yds a pop. Todd Monken should be fired into the sun. This was some Ron Turner in the superbowl bullshit.

Felt like they were trying to prove something by passing.

Ravens played stupid ball - hard to believe with the "best" coach in the NFL. Besides the penalties and the fumble, giving up on the running game played into KC's hands. Yeah, they got stuffed on a few runs but it was almost Getsy-like on their play calling, abandoning the run.
At least we got to see Taylor Swift ... YEAH (not).

Detroit looks like the #1 seed by halftime while the Niners struggle. Purdy looking more like the last pick in the draft. Maybe Bagent should be more like Goff than Purday? Curious to see the halftime adjustments by genius Shanahan.
