Maybe he’s so desperate to avoid the Bears that he’s tanking :)

Didn't watch the USC game, maybe Utah took a page from Notre Dame and blitzed the crap out of him. He didn't handle the pressure by ND any too well. None of the top 3 QBs (Williams, Mayes, Penix) exactly lit up the respective fields yesterday.

I had the Ohio St / Penn St game on in the background while doing some cleaning yesterday, most college football I've watched lol...

MHjr seemed to do something every time I looked over at the screen. Based on this thorough analysis, I'm all in on MHjr

MHJ might be one of the most complete football players, regardless of position, since Charles Woodson.

Our future WR was a man amongst boys yesterday.

11 receptions for 162 yards and 1 TD.

I keep going back to a throw against Colorado where he had a wide-open WR 30 yards down the field and the ball came up 10 yards short throwing on the run.

I know it is one throw but it scared me.

Lance Briggs is right. No QB in this draft has the ability that Fields does. Unless we change our offense completely.

Latest rumor is that Lincoln Riley is floating him as a HC for the team drafting Williams. Riley has certainly produced some high powered offenses but no national titles and his defenses have typically been in the lower half statistically.

I'm wasn't all in on him before this game although he's played well this year. But he was a man among boys. DJ and Harrison, wow.

Derrick Klausen is a QB scout for Bleacher Report and The 33rd Team specializing in QBs. He favored Stroud over Young last year, predicted that Trubisky would fail. Klausen says that USC offensive scheme issues affected Williams' play in '23. He said that Williams' tendency to hold onto the ball too long and make something happen were the results of these failures which included a (especially for USC) bad offensive line:

Hell I predicted Trubisky would fail and I have never scouted a day in my life. Although I pretend to be one every Saturday in the fall. :D

On a serious note though, I am starting to come back around on Caleb Williams. I would prefer the Bears stick with Fields and upgrade other positions, but if we keep the #1 pick, maybe Williams just might be ok. I'll reserve the right to change my mind 3,000 times between now and the draft though. I don't envy Poles at all, such a tough decision.

Loved Urlacher the MLB of the beloved, but he is a meatball and have disagreed with him often when he opens his mouth... This is par for the course.

No Christmas card from JF1 next year.

lol, yeah. If I need advice on where to get the best hair plugs, I'll hit up Brian. Otherwise, I'd appreciate if he just fades away.

I loved Urlacher, but he's definitely been full of sour grapes since his unceremonious departure. Reminds me of how Sayers would shit all over the team any chance he got.

Urlacher was a legendary player who I loved watching. I still have his jersey hanging in my closet. I just don't care for his jaded takes on the team.
