If Caleb Williams is the goods, he is the new King of Chicago, and potentially the NFL.
And Ryan Poles trading the #1 pick to the Panthers will go down as the greatest trade in NFL history. Do we have a Ryan Poles appreciation thread? Maybe we should?

He can wear a pink jockstrap and dance the Tarantella in the shower for all I care just as long as he beats GB twice a year and we finally do take the NFCN and never give it back. It annoys me no end that those cheese bois seem to have lucked upon yet another good QB. We have one HOF QB who retired around 1950 or so while they've had three since then and a few more pretty good ones.

"Ridiculous" in a GOOD way, or "ridiculous" like a clown? I hope it's the former...

I was think ridiculous as in making crazy throws that no one else can vs. dressed up in some ridiculous outfit (clown is a good word there as well).grendel2000 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 3:28 pm"Ridiculous" in a GOOD way, or "ridiculous" like a clown? I hope it's the former...
I'm hoping he is doing crazy throws, scrambles, etc. that no one would even thing about doing.

I don't care if he's transgendered and wears a garter belt under his uniform, so long as he can play QB:
And if he wins us a Super Bowl, I'll paint my nails pink and wear lipstick too. Hell, I'll do that if he simply beats Green Bay.

Part of what makes him special.
The secret is to work less as individuals and more as a team. As a coach, I play not my eleven best, but my best eleven.

I had a recurring insurance bill at 666.
When I asked them to just move it up a buck it went up to around 685.
Fact.
