Ok fellas, we now have a full league and another guy who is very interested. If anyone is having buyer's remorse and might feel like they don't have the time for the league, it is NO problem backing out. Let me know.

That sucks though dude. You sure? It was initiated to be folks from bfo and the other league. The rest are filler friends and 2nd choice IMO.

Yeah. I’d be in if you really needed me to make it work, but lot of other things popping up recently has me realizing I probably can’t throw the time into it that I’d want to.

IE - can you give a cliff's notes / high level strategy overview given the scoring system and roster setup for this league? I've never done an IDP before, never done a SuperFlex, etc...don't give your secrets away or anything, just a basic guide line...

Hey bud - I answered in the league chat but will here as well.

We did agree to have a supplemental draft for defensive players - so there won't be confusion re: "should I draft a LB now or get a backup TE or WR". Those decisions are now all moot, and in the supplemental draft you'll see the projected stats and scores of all the defensive players and it will be very transparent about who to pick. It is a good / reasonable compromise. The only issue is I''ll have to sort of choose FOR people how many offensive and defensive players to pick. Which does limit some people's strategy. I'm in an IDP league where some folks have defense for half their players. And then others just pick for the starter slots & have just a few backups. Free agency will allow people to adjust so no worries.

One thing about IDP is if you're stung by injuries for those players there are still a good number of FA to pick from - versus offensive players who are always more slim pickings in a 12 team league. So most people just have maybe a a few key backups on defense and churn a lot through FA. Also you'll have IR spots that often get filled by good defenders as well. New defensive stars always emerge every year at a rate even higher than offense. So dynasty defenders can churn quite a bit, with most people just having a few 3-4 stars out of the 6 slots.

Hey man. We never really had a headcount problem with the league - I have a lot of friends who have been talking about doing a dynasty league, but have just wanted to have BFO folks get first dibs. We'll never need to go below 12 teams. We're back at 12 now but I'd REALLY like you in the league. So hopefully the busy you have going on now will reside and maybe next year you can take over a team. Most leagues have at least one team turn over every season, because life gets in the way.

As far as I'm concerned you're first in line going forward, and if anyone is needed you'll be the first I approach.

So I'm learning to navigate the app. i don't find it as user friendly as others, but that's likely due to the learning curve I'm facing on it. (everyone has said it's better, I guess I just don't know it well enough).

So want to just double check some things. Looking at my team it has a spot for:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1TE
2 Flex (WR/TE/RB)
1 Superflex (add a QB to flex mix)
But I don't see spots for IDP. How many IDP will we start each week? Can you play whatever you - i.e. if we have 3 can you play 3 CB - or will we have to play a DL, LB, secondary player??

I think they'll add the IDP slots after we draft the offenses first. They decided to split the draft to make it easier (so we don't have to figure out how an IDP is valued vs an offensive player).

You have to set notifications on the mobile app. Once you're at the main page on that, go to the 3 dots (menu) on the upper right and it will drop down some options including "notification settings". From there activate whatever settings you want (leave chat notifications "ON" so you can get notified when you're on the clock if you're not watching the app).
