I think he is playing a game. He has been wanting a new stadium for awhile now. he thinks if the right people see that he is "interested" in selling and the group interested in buying is willing to relocate the team, people will push the new stadium as to not lose the Sox.

Just my opinion, but Jerry is not above this.

At this point, the city might send movers to help them pack. It's not above any owner to play that card but it's not going to move the needle much in the Sox's favor.

I was sentimentally attached to the old Comiskey Park and was disappointed there were no plans to renovate and update rather than tear down ... and I never liked new Comsikey at all ... always felt like a cheap K-Mart quality knock off of the real Comiskey

Definitely agree. Loved old Comiskey, the new one was is as you describe.
