My wife loved it. I sat down and tried to watch an episode. OMG!! I had to leave the room. Stallone was terrible. Just something I couldn't get into. If it is a comedy, I understand, because Stallone was comical. If it is supposed to be serious, they got the wrong actor. If it is both..............

Thanks for the reminder. I think I watched the first season and then forgot about it while I waited for the next one to come out.
I'm into dystopian/post-apocalyptic shows and recently finished watching Man in the High Castle on Amazon, an alternative history/sci-fi show about what the world would be like if the Nazis and Japan won World War II. It started off strong but in the later seasons some episode were a little flat so I give it a solid B+.
I'm currently 2 episodes into The Colony, a show that starts off at a time where aliens have taken over portions of the US (maybe the entire world) and follows resistance fights determined to free themselves. So far I'm liking it.

The book was surprisingly short but the series expanded it out nicely up until the end, which I thought was premature and ruined the series. But hopefully not for you, Xee.Xee wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 12:58 pmThanks for the reminder. I think I watched the first season and then forgot about it while I waited for the next one to come out.

Second season of Silo is coming on in 2 weeks, if you like that dystopian/post-apocalyptic stuff.

I might need to go back and watch the last episode. It's been along break and I don't remember where it ended.

I gave up on Yellowstone, the violence was totally unrealistic. I am, however, waiting to see if 1923 will be continued.Arkansasbear wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 9:42 am Yellowstone returns this week!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are some good 30 minute shows?
Most of what I watch tend to be an hour.
Doing my rehab runs on a treadmill or elliptical. Only going about 30 minutes right now and need something to occupy my mind. I hate doing that crap inside but don't have 100% faith in my knee.
I've got YouTube TV, Disney, Prime and Paramount.
Thanks.

I'm incredibly depressed that this will be the last season, but I get why. They are going out hot though, this season has been fantastic so far. Colin Robinson has taken over.wab wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 9:43 amWhat We Do in the Shadows. I've only seen the movie, but it sounds like the series holds up pretty well. If I ever start watching TV again, I'll have to check it out.wab wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 9:43 amWhat We Do in the Shadows. I loved the movie and was apprehensive about the show....I now prefer the show over the movie, it's that good.LacertineForest wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 1:50 pmI've only seen the movie, but it sounds like the series holds up pretty well. If I ever start watching TV again, I'll have to check it out.

That is really encouraging. I was wondering if they could really stretch it out or if it would just be kind of flat. Glad to hear it's worth seeing!dplank wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 4:00 pmI loved the movie and was apprehensive about the show....I now prefer the show over the movie, it's that good.LacertineForest wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 1:50 pm
