Had a fun time chatting about crypto in the Discord chat yesterday. Thought I'd open up a thread here where we can discuss coins/tokens that we like, where we think the market and technology is heading, and share any money-generating savings accounts that we've found as we dive down this rabbit hole together!

I only know of it by way of my mother-in-law who wanted to invest in some but needed help with the technical side of it (she does all the research of want to invest in). I installed a wallet on her smart phone and she recently asked me to buy a cold wallet for her which I still need to do. She currently only has Bitcoin but wants a very specific cold wallet because she wants to pick up some Cardano.

Love Cardano but it's a little ways away IMOXee wrote: Mon Jan 10, 2022 5:50 pm I only know of it by way of my mother-in-law who wanted to invest in some but needed help with the technical side of it (she does all the research of want to invest in). I started buying Crytpo in small chunks about six months ago. I've got some Shib, Cardano, Crypto.com, and Amp. Only a little of each. My goal isn't to become a millionaire with it. But if one of them spikes, I can sell and further fund my play money investment account on TD.

I had a stoner buddy in high school who didn't really have much ambition. But the fucker bought in to Bitcoin at the initial offering for $1 a coin. He even has actual gold and silver coins form the purchase. I'm not sure how he's doing these days, but he bought $5000 worth and I'm pretty sure hasn't had to work since the early 2010's.

I've had Bitcoin for years to pay for my black market Sunday Ticket. Recently I picked up some MANA (Decentraland), but it's not doing much. I'd love to find some worth picking up early and holding, but there's too much uncertainty for me to put real $$$ into it.

There are just too many garbage coins. Everyone is all "when moon" and then they are broke the next day.AZ_Bearfan wrote: Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:09 am I've had Bitcoin for years to pay for my black market Sunday Ticket. Passive income is the move right now, specifically with nodes or NFTs which function as nodes.
However with the market tanking right now, it won't really matter too much.
