DAmn!!! Got beat by the Utah Hockey Club? WTF? I forgot all about expansion. Will Hawks turn this damn thing around or what? Hate losing the first game of the year and especially to an expansion team.

Well, with the new Chicago sports station, do not even know the name of the dam thing, I have only seen one Hawks game. Hawks seem to be regressing instead of progressing. Seem to be going back to the Dollar Bill Wirtz days, except a lot of people can't see any of the games.

Fired their coach. They are a Chicago franchise.

Damn, they have won 3 in a row. Wish I could have seen at least one of them.

Last night's game was a blast (even better watching it amongst a bunch of Kraken fans). They're very deliberate under Sorensen--even down to the style each line seems to play--until they're not. Surprisingly effective counterpunchers, but they're still waiting too long for the action to develop in just the right way, if that makes sense. For long stretches at even strength, it looked like they were killing a penalty. Still miles ahead of what we've seen lately; I just think a bit too much of Sorensen's AHL is showing.

Oh, and Söderblom was stellar last night.
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.

Friendship is better than fighting, but fighting is more useful.
