One of the consistent criticisms I've had of Poles is the team's unwillingness to invest much in the UDFA market while he's been GM, where (sometimes, at least) contributors to your team can be found, including at center and guard. He's had two UDFA "finds", both on the defensive side (Jaylon Jones and Jack Sanborn, both in 2022; you can maybe add Josh Blackwell, though the Bears didn't sign him after the draft they claimed him off waivers from the Eagles in 2022.)

Whether that's a lack of interest or an inability to identify guys who might help (the latter is clearly more damning), it's an issue.

If Shelton is back, Stromberg could get a look at guard.

Fair enough. Bagent is an oversight by me. (That's in no small part because I had an early Day 3 draftable grade on him and I completely forgot he went undrafted.)
