I don't see much changing via FA from now until the draft other than some depth pieces, so now's a good time to take a shot. Tried to keep it realistic and not have 500 trades
14. Ashton Jeantry RB Boise State (Graham and Campbell were both off the board at 10, I gave up pick 72 but got 45 in return and a late round pick)
39. Walter Nolan DT Ole Miss
41. Tre Harris WR Ole Miss (pull a Ryan Pace and focus on one college to draft from)
49 Landon Jackson DE Arkansas (moved back from 45 and get a 4th round pick from Cincy in '26)
149 Luke Lachey TE Iowa if getting a TE might as well get him from the current TE U.
235 Jacob Gideon OC Western Michigan
242 Dont'e Thornton WR Tenn
256 Marquarius White WR Tenn (no draft is a success unless you draft the Squirrel)

Linebackers, dudes? Including one at #39? Yikes. I don't think I've ever even considered mocking a LB in any round, like at all.
My opinion is that we can wait a year for a backer. I'd rather double up at DE or RB than get a backer. Find somebody who can hold his own...hell, maybe we already have one...
(Probably means we'll take one at #10, now.

My mother's love was inexplicably linked to kickball.

They only have two legitimate LBs on the roster…both of whom will be gone after the season.

Fanspeak (Joe Goodberry 3/10)
1.10 for 1.15 + 2.46
2.39 for 2.54 + 3.87, 5.159
5.148 for 6.183, + 6.201, 7.221, 7.243

We know they're determined to get a receiving specialist and I don't think they can buy much anymore. Can split time as the 11th man with...

6016 206 4.44 1800 yds last 2yrs
Longtime favorite for the 3rd WR job
54: R2 P22 HB Quinshon Judkins - Ohio St
5115 221 4.48 3800 yds over 3yrs
Starting Thunder Back
72: R3 P8 SS Kevin Winston Jr - Penn State
6014 215 DNP 4star
Injury dropped him way down. He can take his time, waiting until Brisker gets another concussion, traded at the deadline, or maybe even finishes his contract.
87: R3 P23 DE Ashton Gillotte - Louisville
6025 264 DNP 88 PFF 22.5 sacks last 3yrs

Backs up Swift as the change of pace back.
183: R6 P7 LB Cody Lindenberg - Minnesota
6023 236 DNP
This seems silly late, but R6 is where everyone has him, so fine. Can contend for a starting job next year.
203: R6 P27 OT Jack Nelson - Wisconsin
6070 314 DNP
OT insurance in case Kiran is a bust. Will be a battle to make the 53, though.
221: R7 P5 PR/WR/KR Chimere Dike - Florida
60005 196 4.34 6.82cone
Elusive burner with return experience and impressive yds/snaps ratio at Florida

FCS star stood out at Shrine. More tough roster competition, could end up on PS.
243: R7 P27 CB Robert Longerbeam - Rutgers

Combine star, real name and porn name are the same, Jaylon Jones hasn't gotten an offer yet.

Stumbled upon this site, I like it quite a bit:
https://mockdrafthero.com/
You can adjust settings to your liking (sliding scale to set "draft for need", randomness so you can have more "surprise" picks, choice of three different draft boards).
You can elicit trades and they seem somewhat accurate based on the Rich Hill chart.

Lane is probably my top PR guy (this presumes Noel goes early on Day 2, which is sooner than I'd be willing to take him). Horton is promising if the knee is sound. I like Dike and Watkins too – both guys with some ability as a receiver too.Moriarty wrote: Wed Mar 12, 2025 5:34 pmI'm sure I'm missing a couple, but I've found:thunderspirit wrote: Wed Mar 12, 2025 12:09 pm

I do not have any that I particularly favor, just nice to have some more options. DJ's at the NFL Network, Dane Brugler's, Kiper's, and some of the other more connected guys would be nice. Mock Draft Database does a good job of aggregating them: https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2025G08 wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 9:54 am Do me a favor and list the top 10 board you would like to see added (or if you only have one or two that's fine, just let me know what they are)

Probably too many trades to be realistic but ...
1-22: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan. Billings replacement, much potential to be dominant
2-39: Princely Umanmielen, DE, Missippi. Not noted as a run defender but explosive
2-41: Josh Conerly, OT, Oregon. Braxton competition
2-44: Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
2-50: Mason Taylor, TE, LSU. Big time pass catcher
2-55: Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas. Position of need
4-132: Nick Nash, WR, San Jose State. Leading receiver in Div. 1 football last season. Slot

I liked this one. I really think we need a S in the 2nd or 3rd round. I don't see Brisker lasting much longer. Granted, I didn't know most of these guys, but I'm on the Omarion Hampton bus.

I actually prefer Johnson, but would be thrilled to death to have either.Bears Whiskey Nut wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 4:37 pm I liked this one. I really think we need a S in the 2nd or 3rd round. I'm not the draft expert that a lot of you are. Two observations.
It seems like there are A LOT of decent DT's in this draft.
The meat of the talent/value in this draft is the 2nd round. If we could trade down a few spots in the 1st and pick up an extra early 2nd, that would be amazing.

Would love this draft. Sadly I think Campbell will be go much earlier than 39. He's one of my favorites though.wab wrote: Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:55 am I liked this one a lot. Traded down a few times and nabbed some good prospects. Missed on a couple of receivers though...

PFN's player rankings are still pretty whacky compared to most others, love their system but their rankings are ass. The system G08 posted above seems the best to use now with either the Mock Draft Database or Draftek rankings for a realistic mock.
