Someone will definitely sign him, but wouldn't it be so sweet if the league rejected him and forced him to retire?

Winston is going to throw for 4200 yards and 52 TDs while Nabers racks up 1200 yards receiving...and somehow the Giants will still only win 5 games.

That's because Winston will throw 48 Ints with those 52 TDs.

I would rather have Winston than Rodgers at this point.

And you will win the same amount of games. With less cost, less drama (well a little less drama) and not alienate your entire lockerroom.

Well, it looks like Wilson and Winston are both joining the Jints QB room along with Tommy DeVito. Wilson is a one year deal while Winston has a two year deal.

Erin is now dancing with himself ... for now.

Believe it or not Billy is still touring and raking in the cash. How many times can you sneer and sing "White Wedding"? Great day to ... START AGAINNNNN

EDIT
Hold the presses - Athlon Sports site is predicting a trade. Hmmm.
Former NFL general manager and current ESPN analyst Mike Tannenbaum released a mock draft on Tuesday following the news of Wilson's departure to New York, in which he projected the Steelers will trade up with the Chicago Bears and secure Sanders with the No. 10 pick.
Steelers are at #21. What would it take to have Poles accept a trade dropping that far down? The 2025 and 2026 second round picks included with the first round picks swapped?
San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

Sanders still has to make it past the Browns, Raiders, and Saints. If a trade were to happen, it wouldn't be until the Bears were on the clock.

I do not see the Saints taking Sanders. Derek Carr will be their guy this year and beyond. It is just the way Mickey Loomis operates. He is stubborn. He will stick with him win or lose. Saints have not drafted QBs well in the past. Drew Brees falling to them in FA was a huge turning point for the Saints. Prior to that pick up we called them the Ain'ts for a reason. (Saints have always been my wifes favorite team.)

The contract details aren’t out yet for this signing, but it doesn’t matter. The Titans could have paid Tim Boyle a half-dozen cashews to take this job, and it would still be an overpay.

There is no reason Boyle should be in the NFL. None. Not even as a sixth quarterback on the worst team in the league. He is the worst quarterback I’ve ever seen in my life, and if you don’t believe me, check out his college stats from three years at Connecticut: one touchdown, 13 interceptions. How does this bum keep getting a job!?

Great, I'll sleep a lot better now.
There is a GM named Poles
Who has a clear set of goals
He’s rebuilt his team

I think maybe someone told Deion to shut up, because he might have been hurting his sons draft stock. Kid already has a reputation of supposed arrogance and entitlement. Deion talking too much may have seen the kid go way later than originally predicted.

I would have some reluctance to draft him because you know Deion is going to stir the pot every chance he gets. But I am not an NFL GM, so It doesn't really matter what I think.

Raiders HC Pete Carroll on contract extension for Geno Smith: 'We're working on it'

The Las Vegas Raiders acquired Geno Smith in a trade from the Seattle Seahawks weeks ago, yet a new contract for the quarterback remains in limbo.

"We're working on it," head coach Pete Carroll said on Monday at the NFL's Annual League Meeting. "Yeah, we're working on it. [Smith's] excited to get going, get started. He'll be here when we get rolling. But we are working on it."

Raiders general manager John Spytek later told reporters that he was confident an extension for Smith will get done soon.

"We look forward to having him not just this year," Spytek said, via ESPN, "but for years to come."
...

Carroll, who coached the QB for five seasons in Seattle, insisted that the Raiders didn't trade for Smith to be a bridge, but rather a multiyear solution.

"Getting Geno was a really important part of this puzzle we're putting together," Carroll said. "He has really a rich background, which was really important to me because I know what we can count on. A guy that is such a great worker, he's grown so much throughout his career, been through so much and overcome so much. I love the way he approaches the game. He's serious, he's competitive. He works his tail off. He's a great leader in that regard. He leads the guys by the way he takes to the game. Man, he's talented, really talented."

Aaron Rodgers, Steelers WR DK Metcalf had throwing session; Mike Tomlin appreciates 'intimacy' with free-agent QB

Aaron Rodgers is taking his time deciding on whether he'll join the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the four-time NFL MVP is crossing every T and dotting every I as he does his due diligence.

That evaluation includes getting to know new Steelers receiver, DK Metcalf.

Rodgers and Metcalf had a throwing session over the weekend at UCLA, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported on Monday, per sources informed of the workout.
...

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Monday at the NFL's Annual League Meeting that he appreciates the chance to get to know a player before they get in bed together.

"We had a really productive day," Tomlin said of the meeting. "He's been in this thing a long time. I've been in this thing a long time. But there's no substitute for intimacy and spending time together and getting to know one another in a non-competitive environment. So, that was really good. But I don't have any new updates in terms of where the process is. We'll see where it leads us."

Tomlin reiterated that he's not putting a timeline on Rodgers to make a decision.

"I'm really comfortable with being unsettled at this time of year, to be quite honest with you. It's about talent acquisition," he said. "We've got two main means of acquiring talent -- free agency and the draft. We multitask. We do both. Those needs that we fulfill in free agency, we do so there, and when we don't, we fulfill it in the draft. I just learned over the years that this time of the year, although day to day it could be somewhat uncomfortable, it is a process."

I think that takes QB off the board with their first pick.

They will end up regretting that. Geno Smith has upgraded from bad but he's still not a good QB

Joe Flacco has re-signed with Cleveland on a 1 year $4m deal.

Drew lock is returning to the Seahawks after being part of the Russell Wilson trade to Denver. He was with the Giants last season.

Derek Carr is dealing with a shoulder injury that threatens his availability for the upcoming season, with surgery a possibility. That surely increases the likelihood they'll make a move for a QB early in the draft. They have the pick right before the Bears so that could be good for us.

The hilarious thing about Rodgers is that he can still play, and teams don’t want him because he’s just such a massive doucher. A cancer to any team he’s on. We’ve always known it, now everyone does.
