Did you watch the presser? Herbert is now RB1 B to Monty's RB1 A. He deserves it. His vision is impeccable and like his draft profile says he makes instant and good decisions in picking his lanes. Loved watching his college tape again just now.
I hope they can keep Monty on a reasonable deal. Maybe Monty is a better 3rd down back, with *maybe* better hands and better with pass pro. And fresh Monty WILL get that critical first down - he's great at that. I like the Juice/Monty comp with Jones/Dillon ... to me that's the comp. I really want to see them keep them both for 3-4 more years. Getsy knows how to use them once he gets JF1 up to full speed. They're damn good backs.
I see Juice as being very similar to Aaron Jones. How did they make it to Day 3? The world may never know.
