Well if that happens at least you won't be sending me any more unsolicited weather forecasts @The Marshall Plan!

Just as you prefer your QB to have a mullet and a moustache, I prefer my "weather presenters" to have butts somewhat smaller than that of my favourite team's Left Tackle. The Marshall Plan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 2:13 amDid you watch it? TMP's favourite sex panther has been named the Raiders Week 1 starting QB, beating out Aidan O’Connell.

huh, really thought it'd be AOC. Either AOC proves he's your guy, or else he helps you get to a better spot to draft your guy next year.

Still remember O'Connell coming in for mop-up duty after Hoyer stunk up the field last season in the premier Bagent game. Looks like O'Connell will be mopping up again, only it may be the rest of the season.
Raiders decided to sit out the draft feeding frenzy at QB and just missed out on Bo Nix, going one pick ahead of them, so they went with TE Brock Bowers. They may be looking at QB in their first pick next season.

San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

I don't have enough bandwidth for another board, but if/when you do see them, tell them I said hello.

@IE and @The Marshall Plan left because of their feelings towards one poster and how discipline on this site has been handled as far as I am aware.
I miss both posters and wish everyone could get along.

They aren't as good as this one, but the one they went to has a strict no trolling policy and they do a really good job with it. Can send you the link if you're interested.

i still think atlanta screwed the raiders and us, when they picked penix. i think we would have traded from 9 to 13 and picked up a second at least, maybe next years first. but i feel like that was the plan and fucking pace screwed the bears draft again...spudbear wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 2:27 pm Still remember O'Connell coming in for mop-up duty after Hoyer stunk up the field last season in the premier Bagent game. I'm pretty sure the Bears weren't going to give up the chance to draft Odunze. If you believe the interviews, Poles had to be convinced not to trade UP to get him.otis wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 10:19 ami still think atlanta screwed the raiders and us, when they picked penix. i think we would have traded from 9 to 13 and picked up a second at least, maybe next years first. but i feel like that was the plan and fucking pace screwed the bears draft again...spudbear wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 2:27 pm Still remember O'Connell coming in for mop-up duty after Hoyer stunk up the field last season in the premier Bagent game. I was a lurker on Chi-City Sports or whatever it was for a long time, but I just haven't been able to get into any other boards.
And FWIW, I'm trying to get better at addressing/deleting posts that are considered unnecessary or could be interpreted by others as trolling. It's just hard to catch everything when it's only UOK and I for the most part.

Appreciate it bud, and totally get it! I can't get into the other boards either, the quality of the posters here is unmatched. I tried recruiting those guys back but failed.wab wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 10:23 amI was a lurker on Chi-City Sports or whatever it was for a long time, but I just haven't been able to get into any other boards.

i suppose. we were in a sweet spot for trading down if penix made it that far. but ya, he was gungho for rome. my aversion to high receiver draft picks, once again thanks to pace, is strong. i hope poles is right.LacertineForest wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 10:22 amI'm pretty sure the Bears weren't going to give up the chance to draft Odunze. wab, you and UOK do a great job. There's very little unpleasantness on this forum.
I too tried to persuade TMP to return, but it appears he's made his decision and isn't willing to do so.
Ultimately mods can't please all of the people all of the time.

I concur that, on the whole, @UOK and @wab do yeoman's work modding this board. Even when I disagree with a decision, there's at least a rationale behind it.

Which one?
I poked around a little, out of curiosity, and only found one with a mountain of TMP posts from a short window in 2020.
