...Just left my house. My nephew is dating his niece (they are visiting us from Florida) and he came over to see them. Incredibly nice, humble, and funny guy. He and his son had dinner with us, hung out and had a great time. He didn't seem to get irritated at all with me asking a bunch of questions about his time with the Bears, even though he was only in Chicago for one year. :-D

It's not like I had Mike Ditka over for dinner, but it was freaking awesome. He had some really cool stories, including one about the Bears from when he was with the Packers the year before. There are only a couple former bear QB's who also won a Heisman, so you guys can pretty easily figure it out. What an awesome evening.

Yes. It’s a quiz. LOL. (Not really, I just thought I would avoid posting his name online 15 minutes after he left my house) on the other hand, it is a fun trivia “quiz”.

It wasn’t Flutie. I think there’s only one other heisman winner/Bears QB. I told him he has a special place in my heart for being the guy to push Cade McNown off the Bears’ roster.

I met Danny once at a golf tourney that my company sponsored. Seemed like a nice dude in the 5 minutes I talked to him.

It's low, but not the lowest.

Sometimes it's pretty apparent they don't have the physical tools for the big stage

My favorite Bears-related story Danny told me was from when he was with the Packers in 2000. They were working on Goal-line plays they planned to run against the Bears that week, and their OL coach was going over iso's and carefully went through which defender was each player's responsibility. He got to the last one, which was the FB, and said "All you need to do is block their ROOKIE MLB, who played SAFETY in college... he played SAFETY! You think you can handle that??!" They were all laughing about it... Apparently, that was the last time he made that comment :D

Not a Heisman winner but at least a plausible scenario.
