We have several threads about ex-Bears and how they're doing with their new teams, but not one for the highest-profile of them all. (Perhaps we should combine all the threads into one giant ex-Bears thread. )
Anyway, just saw Mack's stats for Week One against his other old team, the Raiders:
3 sacks, 4 quarterback hits, a forced fumble and 6 tackles (5 solo)
Not a bad day's work.
The Chargers and their fans must be mighty happy with that trade right now.

Mack went off on the Pack in his first game with the Bears in 2018. I wish him well with the Chargers but still welcome the trade. Of course, it doesn't hurt having a Bosa on the other side of the DL for the OL to have to contend with ....

Mack can still play at an elite level. If healthy (big if) he will put up double digit sacks and be a wrecking crew.

The Bears traded him because of his contract and his health.
