I'd give at least two of my toes to know what's going on between Getsy and Fields. Game three and we're playing like it's the second set of 7-on-7s in training camp. Getsy isn't getting something he's demanding of Fields...but what?
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.

I realize this year is a Mulligan, but I expect to see improvement week to week. This is just turrbl!

Fields has a chance to change the narrative in the second half . If he doesn’t, one has to wonder if he should sit for a game or two

Thank you Kahlil Herbert for proving me right. He is the answer at the goal line!

half the people in chat screaming "RUN IT DOWN THEIR THROATS" the other half lamenting that we're scared to pass. Things are weird right now.

200+ yds rushing to this point, I don’t see the Bears “opening” it up.

I'm not sure whether my continued vomiting throughout the day is due to drinking way too much last night or watching the Bears' passing offense.

13 passing attempts through 3 quarters is awful

It's looking like Fields isn't the guy. Hopefully he turns it around.

I am having those exact same thoughts.

He still has time to turn it around this year and next. Josh Allen didn't really take off till his 3rd season. He looked pretty bad in his first two years.

Davis Mills looking decent. Seems to a little more confident than Fields.

I’ll be honest, I was hoping to see Simien this last drive.

Roquan isn't worth $20M per year?

Know-nothing-morons.

Gonna be really honest here.

One of the people who said not to pay Roquan also compared Mitch to Drew Brees and also most likely loss his ass, bigly, on crypto right before the bust.

I know which way we should go on Roquan.

Roquan has been pretty active today. He got blocked pretty badly on a play near the end zone on one of the Texans scoring drives, but he's made a ton of tackles and that pick puts the Bears in position to win.

I'm a big Roquan critic, but that was a nice big play he gave us to help set up an opportunity for a win
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Another nail biter.
Clutch play by Roquan at the end.
Ugly win, but still a win.
This team has a long way to go to get to average.

Roquan's hip must be healing ok.
There is a GM named Poles
Who has a clear set of goals
He’s rebuilt his team
So Bears’ fans can dream
Of winning some more Super Bowls

Am I the only one that would have rather had Justin play phenomenal and lose then win like that? I mean i'm happy with the win but with the way Fields has been so far that felt like a loss.....

Remember the whole diddy this summer about people agonizing whether Roquan Smith will be any good in this defense? Eat shit. Eat it.

Random thoughts about this game:

1) Good grief I thought we were going to lose a game where we almost had 300 yards rushing.
2) Gee I hope Poles plays hard ass on the level of radio caller Chet From Oak Park during Roquan's next negotiation session. A real Meat & Taters Lunch Pail kind of thing too. Wow.
3) That OL is fucking putrid.
4) Fields is awful. Just awful. Was that wobbly interception ball tipped?
5) What was worse? The playcalling? (Getsy isn't going to be a HC candidate anytime soon.) Fields? Or the OL?
6) With all the rushing yards what do you think the TOP was? Houston had 28:38. We had 31:22. Pathetic. How does that happen?
7) I hate it that Fields is busting. I need to see quite a few more games. Probably the rest of this season. But I hate it that this isn't going well.
8) Probably the ugliest win I've seen in a long time with this team. BUT.....it's a win.

TIME TO PEEL A SECTION OFF OF VIRGINA. Give me the other upper arm section.

My Fields Bust-O-Meter is at 11 right now. Made Craig Krenzel look like Joe Montana by comparison. A truly horrible performance, two in a row now. He gets until Week 8, but the trendline is clear right now and it's not looking good.

Happy for Roquan, he was balling all day out there.
