For current and former Illinoisans:

Interesting to note that the FCS Buck Buchanon Award (top D player at that level) was Zeke Vandenburgh, Illinois State University. Guy was a beast at that level.

Naseim Brantley, Western Illinois University, is also listed as a prospect to watch.

I caught on to Mauch maybe 2 months ago. Didn't know about his brutally short arms, though. That explains why I've been seeing the G projections and somewhat lower rankings.

Kraft is intriguing, although I've seen expectations for his speed/athleticism vary wildly.

I live close to where this game is played and traffic has been a nightmare. But…the fans are some of the most polite people I’ve ever engaged with.

S Dakota St romps over N Dakota St. Kind of shocking it was a blowout, 45-21. RB Isaiah Davis of SD St looked pretty damn good.

Missouri Valley Conference, the dominant conference in the FCS.
