Thought I read Leonard Floyd put the hit on him. Too bad Floyd didn't hit him more often when Rodgers was a Packer.

Um, Leonard Floyd's record as a Bear vs the Packers included:

2016 (Week 7): 2 sacks plus a QB hit, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD
2017 (Week 4): 1 sack
2017 (Week 10): 0.5 sack plus a QB hit
2018 (Week 15): 2 sacks
2019 (Week 1): 2 sacks

That's 7.5 sacks in the 8 games he played against the Packers. Bear in mind too that he totalled 18.5 sacks in 4 seasons in Chicago, so over 40% of them came against Green Bay. I can't say for sure if they were all on Rodgers, but Floyd certainly did a good job hitting the Green Bay QB.

It'll be very interesting - He will get basically a full year away from Football (albeit with painful rehab)

So he can see if that "takes" - or if it shows to hold onto it as long as possible

Walked away from it with even less confidence in Nathaniel Hackett. A few blurbs from the Athletic's daily email to whet the whistle:

The entire Rodgers-ification of the organization produced intense workplace dysfunction, particularly among coaches. Head coach Robert Saleh turned Rodgers’ absence into a rationalization. No one wins when their star quarterback gets hurt. It was justification for bad results.

For offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, it was worse. In Rodgers, he had a “frat brother” to conduct his offense, meaning the QB seemed in charge most of the time. Multiple coaches and players described Hackett as “lacking in attention to detail.” Not a great look for the guy coming off of a failed debut as Denver’s head coach.

All the negativity blossomed while Rodgers was away from the team … though he stayed in the conversation plenty thanks to his weekly segments on “The Pat McAfee Show.” Losing hurts, and having your leader critique you from thousands of miles away doesn’t help.

When you read about some of the dysfunction that coaches and front office peeps go through and or bring on themselves in some organizations it just makes you wonder.
