Thanks CK.
Going to need a bit of time to process this.
At first glance, it feels a little light.
Maybe the trade partners weren’t there @4 or 7.
So a first, a late 2nd, DJ Moore, a 2024 1st and a 2025 2nd
I don’t know, he’s jumped early and he might have got better had he waited.

That doesn't feel too bad to me.

I'm way underwhelmed. WTF is that?? We get the 9th and 61st pick this year? And a first next year? How is that "multiple" first round picks? Isn't DJ Moore the head case that took his helmet off after a TD and cost his team the game? What about the desperation of the Colts and the Texans? I don't know...color me unimpressed.

I'm shocked that they got DJ Moore in this deal. Hell yes to this trade.

I'm a little underwhelmed as well at the moment.
Some noise that Carolina wanted to send a 2025 1st round pick but Poles demanded DJ Moore and got what he wanted.
With the two late second round picks, I'd have to think Poles is thinking of packaging them and moving up to high round two.
Curious what we do at #9... JSN is likely out the window so I'd have to think DL.

9 PLAYOFF APPEARANCES IN THE PAST 35 SEASONS
DJ Moore has 3 1,000 yard seasons under his belt and is (still) only 25 years old. Him plus the 9th and 61st picks in 2023, a first rounder in 2024 and a 2nd rounder in 2025? That can go a long way toward reshaping the franchise. They get what they had to get imo - a 2024 first round pick. And, as Poles mentioned, he likely would make the move before free agency if he could land a player he covets.
Not bad at all....

We can actually trade #54 and #61 for a high first round pick if we wanted... or we can trade #61 and #64 for a high second, etc.

Geez.
9 is too far down for my liking.
Then what's the plan at WR?
Is Poles going to keep everybody? Moore (obviously), Mooney and Claypool? I mean if he does that's a nice WR group.

I’m a little underwhelmed but I figured it wouldn’t be a huge haul.
Would’ve preferred Burns and JSN at 9.

I think he did pretty well.
There is a GM named Poles
Who has a clear set of goals
He’s rebuilt his team
So Bears’ fans can dream
Of winning some more Super Bowls

Do you think I lowballed the ask on the trade when I only asked for one #1 pick?Ditka’s dictaphone wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 5:54 pmCrazy talk! The Marshall Plan wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 5:52 pm

I fucking LOVE this! The picks are adaquate, I'd have liked another 3rd in there. But getting DJ Moore as our #1 makes it great for me. He is better than any WR in FA, is young (25) and should make our WR corps of Mooney, and Claypool quite hard to cover. Justin has his #1 finally.
3 QBs should go in front of us so it pushes down some big value to 9, but it's possible 4 go and then we are in business.
