Not exciting, but it's still an improvement. He was pretty good against the run last year, an area we need a lot of growth on. He's a decent rotational guy at min. At least he is trending up still in ihs career and has less wear and tear for some his age in the league.

I like him as the 3T. I think his explosiveness and length would go a long way.

I was sad to learn a few months ago my wife hadn't see that movie. So I fixed that and made he watch it. I was even sadder when it was over and she looked at me and asked why I had wasted 2 hours of her life.Yogi da Bear wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 10:06 pmOur next signing. Midlevel DE was on my list.
You can't assume more playing time is only going to make him look better (see T Gipson), but there's some upside potential.
It makes sense and it's ok.

It's a double secret new stat ....LacertineForest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:49 amA one fap guy, eh? Now those are some advanced metrics!
Walker's QB pressures almost doubled when he was moved from inside to outside in a 3-4 Houston D in' 21. Not sure the breakdown last year in Tennessee.
[Where are my old Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?

Those are pretty strong grades cuz he seemed like the biggest overpay to me based on what I saw out there before FA.HisRoyalSweetness wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:29 pm "Experts'" grades on the DeMarcus Walker signing:

Well, just like with draft grades, you have to use a grain of salt and dig deeper. The Cooler King wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:52 pmThose are pretty strong grades cuz he seemed like the biggest overpay to me based on what I saw out there before FA.HisRoyalSweetness wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:29 pm "Experts'" grades on the DeMarcus Walker signing:

Most graders almost never give anything outside of A+ to C-, which becomes deceptive bullshit. If your grading scale is only A to C, then it's more accurate to translate as A=A/B, B=C, and C=D/F

Looks pretty good on a per snap basis. 3 year contract, decent amount for a good rotation player and potential to break out beyond it. Lots to like about this one.
"I wouldn't take him for a conditional 7th. His next contract will pay him more than he could possibly contribute.".
Noted Brain Genius Malk, Summer 2018.
(2020 update, wait, was I right...)

yeah it's just a presser but he gave some love to Fields on a reason he came to the Bears and he and Fields have already worked out together (or at least at the same time) and exchanged numbers. Another solid plus for Fields IMO.
But he doesn't look that big. I'm sure it just because there isn't anything to put his size perspective.
